CLASSES AVAILABLE AT THE 2007 SPECIALTY

In addition to Regular Class Breed judging, there will also be a Puppy Sweepstakes and a Veteran Sweepstakes. Click the sweeps button above for more information.

As additional classes, there will be a Veteran class, Stud Dog and Brood Bitch classes. The Stud Dog and Brood Bitch are judged by the merits of their offspring. These offspring (2 are required) must be entered in the regular classes. Only the Sire/Dam are entered in the Stud Dog/Brood Bitch class. When the class is called, the Sire/Dam go into the ring with their offspring. The offspring can be selected at the last minute if desired and should be the offspring who did the best in the Specialty.

There will be a Veteran class for our older dogs - 7 or older. These dogs cannot be spayed or neutered but must be intact. The winner of the Veteran class will compete for Best of Breed.

Champion dogs are entered in Best of Breed. If for some reason you want to show a champion dog for points, they must be entered in the Open Class.

The Breed Judge will be Mr. Larry B. Stein of Mt. Holly, NJ.

The Sweepstakes Judge will be Mrs. Catherine S. DiGiacomo of New Market, MD.
