WHAT IS THE GPCA?

The German Pinscher Club of America is an AKC National Parent Club as of 2002. GPCA plans to hold sanctioned matches and specialty shows. In the future, GPCA plans to hold obedience trials, tracking tests and other events under the rules of the AKC. GPCA now has it's first AKC champion, agility, tracking, and obedience titlists. GPCA members are a diverse group of German Pinscher lovers who share the common interest of raising, training, breeding, and competing with purebred dogs.

WHAT ARE THE EVENTS?

The GPCA plans to hold an annual National Specialty and other events to promote the sport of the purebred German Pinscher. Also, the GPCA provides educational programs, judges education, sponsors training classes and health clinics, and operates a responsible German Pinscher breeder locator service.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO MEMBERS?

Members have the opportunity to work and support the German Pinscher breed. They are also privy to information on showing, performance, breeding, as well as making friendships across the country with others who share their love of the German Pinscher. Members can also share their show wins, titles gained, and experiences with a group of like minded people who will appreciate and acknowledge their accomplishments.

IS THERE AN AWARDS PROGRAM?

The awards information will be posted at a later date.

IS THERE A RESCUE PROGRAM?

Many members of the GPCA work diligently to rescue the German Pinscher. For information, go to German Pinscher Rescue.
