2008 SPECIALTY
LOCATION
Concord, NC has been selected as the location for the 2008 GPCA National Specialty.
Check out the show site (The Cabarrus Arena and Events Center)
for a sneak peek at the wonderful site of the all breed shows held there in November of each year.
The show is being planned for November 15th at the Greater Monroe Kennel Club Dog Show.
A block of 30 rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Charlotte University, 8520 University
Executive Park Drive, Charlotte, NC 28262. The hotel's phone number is 704-547-0999.
AKC RALLY TITLISTS ARE NOW
ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS
AKC Rally Titlists can now appear on the GPCA AKC Titlist page and are
eligible for the GPCA Rally 2007 Award at the Specialty Banquet of 2008.

GERMAN PINSCHER BREED PHAMPLET
The GPCA Breed Phamplet is now available. Click here to see the Tri Fold phamplet.
Instructions for printing the Tri Fold Breed Phamplet:
When you click to see the phamplet, the Acrobat reader will open with the
document. Go to FILE/PAGE SETUP in the reader.
Click Properties, Click Layout and Landscape.
Do Not Scale to Print.
Click Apply and OK.
Then Click PRINT and just print page 1. Then turn page over and print page 2 on
the pack to make the phamplet.
GIVE THE GPCA WEBSITE A LINK
AND A BOOST!
If you have a German Pinscher or personal website, please link to the GPCA
site. This will give the GPCA website a boost in the Search Engines such as
GOOGLE. There is a Member Logo on the GPCA Store you can use to link to the

COMMITTEES NEED
VOLUNTEERS
The committees are now listed on the Officers
Page. Pick an area where you would like to help the GPCA, click on the
chairman's name, and volunteer. Please get involved and become a voice for the
German Pinscher and the GPCA.
ATTENTION:
Breeders
Club members in good standing can be on the official GPCA breeder referral
list. The fee will be $100.00 per year. The fee is due on December 31 for the
next year.
If you have a German Pinscher website with a link to the GPCA site, a link
back to your website will be added to your listing on the GPCA breeder's list.
If you are interested in being added to the breeders list, you should
contact Renee Phillips and she will
send you a form requesting contact information. Those already on the list just
need to send in their fee.
This form will remind all GPCA breeder/members that they previously agreed
to adhere to the Code of Ethics. Also the GPCA strongly encourages breeders to
microchip their dogs or require the dog buyer do so with the breeder as second
contact person in the event the dog is lost. It will also state that the GPCA
strongly encourages all breeders to state in their contracts that they take
back their dogs for whatever reason for the life of the dog. There will be a
disclaimer that will read: That while the GPCA encourages breeders to follow
the above practices and guidelines, the GPCA and its officers make no guarantee
or take any responsibility for the breeders presented on this list.
